The Montana Youth Symphony strives to cultivate the value of excellence and a spirit of cooperation in young musicians. We are committed to the principles of access and comprehensive inclusiveness. The Montana Youth Symphony is dedicated to equipping young musicians with the ability to build confidence and self-esteem so they can become leaders in their future endeavors. Our primary mission is to use music to build strong connections among young musicians while instilling a sense of hope, health, and healing.

Building upon the long tradition of excellence in music education in Montana and with the support of the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras, the Montana Youth Symphony strives to provide generations of young musicians with an opportunity to return home to perform in their home state. The Montana Youth Symphony will uplift and inspire audiences statewide through performances of the highest caliber.
